Analyzed in vivo functions of the Werner syndrome RecQ helicase protein (WRN) using   shRNA-mediated knockdown in human fibroblasts. Characterized cell phenotype of WRN-deficient mouse ear fibroblasts and human fibroblasts as a function of oxygen tension.
