Film and art have an incredible power to bring change. Working with Tasveer has taught me that since the first time I attended Tasveer‘s film festival in 2008. The following year, I volunteered as a ticket collector and was hooked. Since then, I’ve helped coordinate volunteers, manage events, helped with publicity and marketing, finally culminating in serving as festival director the past two years. The thing that brings me back year after year are the deep friendships that develop when working with an amazing team of passionate, thoughtful and dedicated individuals. And of course, the films are great!
